About Congleton Furniture Centre Local Family Business Selling Furniture

Congleton Used Furniture Centre has moved to our lovely new showroom at 12 Silk Street, Congleton, Cheshire.

We specialise in buying and selling used furniture, home decor and we also have lots of refurbished/up-cycled good quality furniture.

We are working in Partnership with local Congleton charity ‘Rubys Fund’ any items you wish to donate, 20% of the profit made will go straight to them to help them grow and carry on providing the excellent service they are currently doing.

For people who have something they don’t want to donate and instead would like to sell, if its in good resale condition we may be interested.

We offer a collection service if we want the item you have for sale, or if you wish to donate something to us/Ruby’s Fund. And we also offer a good value delivery service if you want to buy an item from us.

We also do house clearances, and office clearances. Deliveries, collections and house clearances are carried out by local Congleton business ‘a small man with a big van removals’



Ruby's Fund

Congleton Furniture Centre donates 20% of all profits from donated goods to Ruby’s Fund, a local Congleton Charity.

Congleton Furniture Centre is a true family affair! Chloe runs the furniture centre while Ben operates our sister company A Small Man With A Big Van, which collects and delivers items for the store. Ben’s mum Dawn runs Up-Cy Daisy which restores and recycles furniture.

The family business was born when Ben starting seeing furniture going to waste while running A Small Man With A Big Van delivery and removal business.

Dawn joined the firm a few months later as she always had an interest in furniture decided to restore pieces for other people too.

“I hate to see furniture going to landfill and I love to see it being reused.”

As the businesses grew Chloe took over the Congleton Furniture business on returning to work after Ben and Chloe’s daughter was born! Phoebe loves to oversee the goings on at the Congleton showroom!
